Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stated on Sunday that Expo 2020 will be the most extraordinary edition of the super world event in its 168-year history.

“Expo 2020 Dubai aims to shape a better future for humanity by increasing international collaboration to new heights”. During his visit to the Expo 2020 venue, Sheikh Hamdan commented.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed his thoughts as follows: "We assured our leaders that we will put on the best Expo event ever, showcasing the UAE's and its people's capabilities. We are optimistic that, under our leadership, Expo 2020 Dubai will provide groundbreaking global platforms for all nations to showcase their culture, innovation, and imagination, and their solutions to international challenges."

Sheikh Hamdan stopped at Al Wasl Plaza and Terra - The Sustainability Pavilion during his tour of the site. In addition to the Expo event's agenda, he was briefed on the architectural and technological aspects of the sites. He was also given information about the shows and events that will take place in Al Wasl Plaza, the Expo's main hub.

Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Experience Officer of Expo 2020 Dubai, briefed Sheikh Hamdan on how the event aims to provide tourists with a rich and incredible experience during his visit to Terra. Towards the conclusion of his visit, The Dubai Crown Prince expressed his delight at the site's preparations to stage the exhibition, and the schedule of programs and activities planned for the global event.

Sheikh Hamdan was updated on the arrangements for the international gathering, which will take place in October and attract over 190 countries, during his visit.

Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee; Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director-General of Expo 2020 Dubai; and Ahmed Al-Khateeb, CEO of Expo 2020 Dubai Real Estate Development, have accompanied Sheikh Hamdan.
