More than 2,500 online travel agencies, travel operators, hotel groups, and airlines have enrolled as Authorised Ticket Resellers (ATRs) for Expo 2020 Dubai, organizers revealed at Arabian Travel Market 2021. (ATM).

The ATRs will provide value-added travel packages for foreign visitors to enjoy the best that Expo 2020 has to provide based on a wide variety of finances and interests, promoting Expo's objective to welcome people from all over the globe to contribute to the creation of a new world.

“Expo 2020 Dubai is less than five months for assembling the world for a worldwide commemoration of human creativity - one that guarantees an amazing experience for guests of all ages, nationalities, and interests - and a strong, global network of ATRs is essential to achieving all these,” said Sumathi Ramanathan, Vice President, Market Strategy & Sales, Expo 2020 Dubai.

“We are thrilled to have greatly increased the number of ATRs signed with Expo, further than double the number since the epidemic began. Expo 2020 is willing to welcome the world, and with the help of our tourism, hospitality, and travel industry partners, foreign visitors would be completely supported in their efforts to join us and be a member of the most diverse World Expo in history, as we work to build a brighter future for all.”

Expo 2020 also hosted almost 100,000 people earlier this year for a preview tour of Terra - The Sustainability Pavilion, delivering a peek of what is about to follow when Expo 2020 officially opens to the world.

Both sessions provided attendees with firsthand knowledge of the extensive program of preventive measures implemented by Expo 2020 to guarantee the safety of all visitors, participants, and employees, in close coordination with the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Dubai Health Authority, and in sync with the most current information and guidance from the World Health Organization. These procedures include the placement of thermal cameras and sanitization stations across the site, the requirement of face masks, and the enforcement of social-distancing restrictions. All authorized participants and their staff will also receive free COVID-19 vaccines as part of Expo 2020.

Expo 2020 Dubai will take place from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, and will welcome visitors from all over the world to explore life-changing technologies that will have a profound, beneficial influence on both people and the earth.
