The UAE adopted a strategy to gain access to 25 new global markets

The UAE Cabinet approved the National Agenda for Non-Oil Export Development on Sunday so that it can obtain access to 25 new global markets and advance its foreign commerce.

This took place at the UAE Cabinet meeting on Sunday, which was presided over by Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in Abu Dhabi's Qasr Al Watan.

With a network that covers 400 locations, the UAE's non-oil commerce surpasses Dhs1.5 trillion every year. The Cabinet furthermore adopted the National Manual for Measuring R&D Expenditures in the Government Sector. The UAE wants to spend 1.3 percent of its GDP on R&D, which is fundamental to the knowledge-based economy we want to develop.

The cabinet also authorized legislation changes in healthcare, education, the economy, emergency response, and crisis management, further with intention of providing the highest quality of life possible based on a stable and diverse economy.
