Dubai has long been a popular destination for lovers, with many unique places to bond over. The list goes on and on: the JBR, the Hatta Mountains for nature lovers, the Love Lake for water lovers, and so on. But hey, there's more: a crescent-shaped lake has been added to the list. It's covered by dunes and bushes in the middle of the desert. On his Instagram profile, Mostafa, a Dubai-based photographer, posted a video of the lake.

“So I find this moon-shaped lake in the middle of the Dubai desert, it's another secret jewel, full of wildlife in barely untouched nature!” wrote Mostafa. There's a lot of oryx in this place!! The sunset and sunrise views are breathtaking. Check out my reel to learn more about the place, Ramadan Mubarak to all.”

The lake is situated in the Al Qudra desert in Dubai. To get to the lake, one will need a 4x4 vehicle to cross the sands.

After Ras Al Khaimah's Pink Lake, it is the second most popular location. Ammar Al Farsi, a 19-year-old Emirati teen, discovered the Pink Lake. The odd 'Pink Lake' has been making waves on social media in the UAE. Dubai is ranked first among Asian and African cities and 15th total on the US Travel group's list of the World's 30 Best Places to Visit in 2020-21, ahead of global destinations such as Sydney, Florence, San Francisco, Amsterdam, and Rio de Janeiro.

The UAE is known for its sunshine, golden dunes, and some of the world's most innovative and extravagant construction projects. Millions of tourists visit each year to learn about the rich and vibrant Arabian community. The country is specifically concerned about the safety of female solo travelers.
