DCT Abu Dhabi will participate in ATM

The Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) will attend this year's Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the biggest in-person travel and tourism gathering to take place over a year. ATM 2021, which is in its 28th year, will be offered in a hybrid format, with an on-ground event at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 16th to 19th, and accompanied by a virtual session from May 24th to 26th.

DCT Abu Dhabi will announce plans for the resumption of international tourist operations throughout the destination, as well as preparations for the forthcoming summer and winter seasons.

“Our participation at ATM is a terrific chance to interact with industry players and discuss potential to boost the tourist sector, despite the present unique global circumstances,” said Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, DCT Abu Dhabi's Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing.

In addition to revealing its intentions for the year, DCT Abu Dhabi will attend ATM 2021 with strategic partner WizzAir, Abu Dhabi's newly formed, which would be participating at the convention for the first time.

The involvement of DCT Abu Dhabi in the gathering is the latest in a line of efforts aimed at growing the tourist sector and assisting partners, and enhancing consumer trust globally and locally. Among these measures is the innovative Go Safe certification program which was created to improve hygiene and hygiene levels in the emirate's tourism and retail facilities.
