Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, widely praised Fujairah's economic role as a result of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah's directions.

These directions seek to create a favorable investment environment by improving the port and increasing its efficiency in dealing with ships and marine tankers of different sizes. As a result, Fujairah Port has grown and become one of the world's most significant maritime shipping centers. This had been mentioned during a visit to the Fujairah Port by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Sheikh Hamdan, escorted by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, to understand the port's progress of work and the upcoming initiatives.

Sheikh Hamdan stated that the UAE has strengthened its position in the global maritime sector and is now an international logistics hub as a result of its state-of-the-art ports, which have bolstered the country's place on the industrial and marine tourist map internationally. Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the port's major position as one of the world's major petroleum ports, including its significant ability to contribute to the country's overall development path.

According to the Fujairah Crown Prince, Fujairah is witnessing tremendous economic development as a result of the Ruler of Fujairah's directives, as "in the previous years, we had been capable of completing a bundle of vital and strategic economic projects, which made contributions enabling the emirate to occupy a distinguished position in the maritime sector."
