The Dubai Police General Command has introduced the first SUV from Hyundai's premium brand, the Genesis GV80 2021, to its squadron of luxury patrol cars, courtesy of Juma Al Majid Establishment, the sole distributor of Genesis in the UAE.

Brigadier Dr. Mohammad Al Razooqi, Director of Transport and Rescue at Dubai Police, lauded the department's tight collaboration with Juma Al Majid Establishment, one of the UAE's major automobile firms. He highlighted that Dubai Police has often strived to include the most efficient, adaptable, and newest models of vehicles to its fleet to survive with a variety of scenarios and to improve the processes of police work and accomplish Dubai Police's objective of preserving security and safety of Dubai.

"We are happy to work in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Command intended to facilitate their police operations and guarantee the safety and security of all citizens, residents, and tourists in Dubai," said Bang Sun Jeong, Vice President, Head of Genesis Middle East and Africa Operation.

"We take delight in cooperating with Dubai Police in numerous programs that aim to create awareness across all sections of society on road safety," said Suliman ALZaben, Director of Genesis UAE. "We expect that the high-tech Genesis GV80 will help to ease Dubai Police operations and deliver a variety of services to the citizens," he said.

The GV80 will be the first SUV to be equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine as standard or a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine as an option; rear-wheel drive would be standard, with all-wheel drive available as an alternative. The all-new 2021 Genesis GV80 makes a big impression in the premium midsize SUV segment.
