Value of real estate transactions in Dubai reached Dhs1.5 billion

Throughout the week ending May 10, 2021, real estate and property transactions totaled Dhs1.5 billion. The total number of transactions was 621.

Dhs216.09 million was paid for 50 plots, and Dhs815.89 million was paid for 417 apartments and villas.

The three leading transactions were land in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid sold for Dhs16.45 million, land in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid sold for Dhs16.32 million, and land in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid sold for Dhs16.45 million in the third position.

Al Hebiah Third had the most transactions this week, with 14 sales transactions totaling Dhs 28.98 million, led by Nad Al Shiba Third with 10 sales transactions totaling Dhs26.96 million, and Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid in the third position with 8 sales transactions totaling Dhs79 million.

The top three apartment and villa transactions are an apartment sold for Dhs96 million in Marsa Dubai, an apartment sold for Dhs72 million in Palm Jumeirah, and an apartment sold for Dhs63 million in Palm Jumeirah.

For the entire week, the total volume of mortgaged assets was 508 million, with the largest being a property in Al Nahda First mortgaged for Dhs140 million.

Seven assets worth Dhs14 million were awarded to first-degree relatives.

According to a report released by the Dubai Land Department, 1,557 real estate and property transactions worth Dhs3.4 billion were reported throughout the week ending May 6, 2021. (DLD). Dhs486.92 million was paid for 111 plots, and Dhs1.87 billion were paid for 1,027 apartments and villas. The top three purchases were property in Al Thanayah Fourth sold for Dhs37.5 million, a land in Palm Jumeirah sold for Dhs37 million, and land in Al Thanayah Fourth sold for Dhs37.5 million in the third position.

The Dubai Land Department recently reported that a total of 6,590 property transactions worth approximately Dhs22.9 billion were registered in Dubai in March 2021. As per the real estate newsletter, the sector increased in number by 43% and in volume by 40% as compared to March 2020. It also mentioned that the majority of real estate purchases in March 2021 was the second-highest since February 2017.
