| King Fahd University to introduce environmental studies |

Saudi Arabia's King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals has signed a memorandum of understanding with Qatar's Barwa and Qatari Diar Research Institute (BQDRI) to introduce environmental studies to the university curriculum, implementing the Qatar Sustainability Assessment System (QSAS), the Peninsula has reported. Under the terms of the agreement, QSAS is to be integrated into the teaching and academic research curriculum at King Fahd University, to connect the students with scientific tools and knowledge which enhance their education.
