| Jumeirah Group plans expansion in China |

Gerald Lawless, executive chairman of Dubai's Jumeirah Group has said the firm is eyeing expansion with six projects in China and a hotel project in Qatar in time for the 2022 soccer World Cup, Reuters has reported. "We would be delighted to have a hotel project within Doha, and I'm sure, definitely by 2022 we will, but I hope long before then," Lawless said. The group's expansion plans in China include building six properties in cities such as Guangzhou, Macau, and Hangzhou, he said.
