Business & Finance Club - Abu Dhabi : Gourmet Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s premium culinary event, will feature several new offerings in its 2011 edition.

The third edition of Gourmet Abu Dhabi, presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, will run from February 2 to 16.

New features will include a charity dinner and a day of chocolate and pastry workshops conducted by women pastry chefs.

Set to feature a host of international Michelin-starred masterchefs, renowned pâtissiers, special guests and the finest châteaus, Gourmet Abu Dhabi will be packed with unique dining experiences, a statement said.

The festivities will begin with the Abu Dhabi Gourmet Stars awards ceremony and a gala opening, it added.

“These, and other special themed events we are working on, will join the ever popular and established masterclass programme, schedule of chateau dinners, a feast of Middle East cuisine and a gourmet golf experience,” said Noura Al Dhaheri, acting leisure products development manager.
