Work begins on SR12.7 billion Rabigh power plant
Business & Finance Club - Riyadh : South Korea's Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction has begun work on a 2,500-megawatt power plant in Rabigh, 150-km northwest of Jeddah, after the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) awarded it the SR12.7 billion ($3.39 billion) contract.

In his address on Saudi television, Prince Naif spoke of the Kingdom’s accomplishments in various fields and also highlighted the fight against terrorism.
“Despite the world and particularly our region being in turmoil, the Kingdom is proud that, due to the directives of the wise leadership, it has been able to repulse the attacks against this nation’s faith and stability,” he said.
