Business & Finance Club - Falconry : Highly skilled displays of falconry on horseback will feature at a an event in Birdingbury this weekend.
Jackie Knightley of Cubbington-based Falconry-days.com will don Elizabethan attire and put on the displays while riding thoroughbred gelding Scottie at the Birdingbury Country Show.
The company will also hold ferret races during the event.
Owner Bob Edwards said: "Falconry on horseback is unique in as much as there a very few people in the country who are doing it.
"To train a bird and a horse to work together is a very difficult thing.
"You need to have a brilliant horse and brilliant set of falcons to work together without fighting each other."
The show will focus on country sports and will raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Other attractions will include dog shows, a chainsaw wood carver, sheep shearing demonstrations and various children's activities.
Admission costs £5 for adults, £2 for concessions and is free for under-fives
