Business & Finance Club Magazine - industrial Sector - Oman (Muscat) - As part of the Sultanate Government's Plans to implement a number of development projects, the Ministry of Finance has approved 20 agreements and three Change Orders worth RO.98.404 million.
The agreements included rehabilitation of Accidents, Emergency and Burns Unit at Khoulah Hospital worth RO.9.980 million, and implementation duration is 21 months, providing consultation services and technical support for the Ministry of Education worth RO.7.650 million until the end of 2010 in addition to the designing and construction of internal roads in the Wilayat of Yanqul worth RO.3.009 million and implementation duration is 300 days.
The agreements also include designing and constructing internal roads in the Wilayat of Dhank worth RO.2.940 million and implementation duration is 390 days, expansion of the Foreign Ministry's General Diwan worth RO.2.664 million and implementation duration is 571 days, designing and constructing the internal roads in the Wilayat of Nakhal worth RO.2.450 million and implementation duration is 400 days, construction of the coastal road in Madinat Hasik in the Dhofar Governorate worth RO.1.747 million and implementation duration is 379 days, in addition to, two agreements for the supply and installation of medical equipment to combat the 'H1 N1' disease at a cost of RO.1.574.
Agreements also included rendering consultation services for the construction of the Solar-Powered Electricity Production Plant worth RO.1.027 million and implementation duration is 18 months, construction of 'Al Aja'yiz Health Centre in the Wilayat of Haima worth RO.879,000 and implementation duration is 12 months, designing, supplying and installing passengers train at 'Kahf Al Hootah' in the Wilayat of Al Hamrah worth RO.828,000 and implementation duration is 300 days and construction of Al Masanah Health Centre at a cost of RO.725,000 and implementation duration is one year.
Agreements also included construction of Soor Al Shiyadi Health Centre in the Wilayat of Saham at a cost of RO.720,000 and implementation duration is 12 months, construction of Al Braik School for Basic Education in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah at a cost of RO.649,000 and implementation duration is 379 days, lighting of internal roads in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi and Al Sinainah at a cost of RO.617,000 and implementation duration is 480 days, supply of Gas filterizers and heaters for the Salalah Gas Supply Plant at a cost of RO.582,000 and implementation duration is 300 days, development of the commercial district from the Licence Rounabout to Al Shariat Roundabout in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi in the Governorate of Al Buraimi at a cost of RO.545,000 and implementation duration is 300 days.
Agreements also include rendering the consultation services for the designing and supervising the construction of the Public Authority for Electricity and Water's building at a cost of RO.540,000 and implementation duration is 28 months, lighting of internal roads in the Wilayat of Dhank at a cost of RO.524,000 and implementation duration is 270 days and connecting water wells at Salalah Well Field with the main reservoirs at a cost of RO.500,000 and implementation duration is 330 days.
The Finance Ministry has also approved the Change Order no. 1 related to designing and constructing of 2200 housing units in the Al Batinah Region at a cost of RO.55 million, and the two Change Orders no. 2 and 4 related to the development of Al Bustan Palace Hotel at a cost of RO.3.254 |
