Emirates revamps Al Ain and Abu Dhabi bus service

Business & Finance Club - Dubai: Emirates has announced it is increasing the frequency of its free bus service, to and from Emirates Terminal 3 in Dubai, from Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

The new service has been introduced to help passengers to reach Emirates Terminal 3 conveniently and with no added stress.

The airline has also invested significantly in revamping its buses, on both the inside and the outside.

The bus interior is now well air-conditioned with new, more comfortable seating, while the exterior features an impressive Emirates aircraft logo, designed to stand out on the UAE’s busy roads.

Khalid Bel Jaflah, Emirates Vice President Commercial Operations UAE, said: "We have a significant number of passengers that travel to Dubai from Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, to avail of Emirates' world class services. As an airline, we are all about connecting people and this value-added bus service is just another aspect of our dedication to get passengers to their destination, with minimum hassle and maximum comfort."

With an estimated travel time of less than two hours, the newly designed bus has the capacity to seat 49 passengers comfortably.

A single pick-up and drop-off point has been opened in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Dubai will now have two collection and drop-off points to account for arrivals and departures at Emirates Terminal 3.

The service will depart from Abu Dhabi four times daily, leaving from the Emirates town office, located in Khalidiya, corniche at 3.30am, 9.30am, 4pm and 9.30pm.

It will depart from Al Ain three times daily, leaving from the Emirates office, Emirates Commercial Complex, Khalifa Street at 3.30pm, 10am and 9pm.

The return journey from Emirates Terminal 3 will depart from outside the arrivals hall, leaving for Abu Dhabi four times at day at 2am, 8am, 2.30pm and 11pm. Return services to Al Ain will depart from Dubai three times daily at 2am, 8am and 2.30pm.
