Business & Finance Club - Manama : Tamkeen has announced the launch of a new marketing assistance scheme as part of its continuous efforts to develop and provide innovative programs that meet the needs of Bahraini entrepreneurs.

The all-new scheme, which is designed to help enterprises enhance their marketing function, forms a valuable addition to Tamkeen's Enterprise Development Support Programme, said a company statement.

The program is aimed at developing Bahraini enterprises and enhancing their productivity and competitiveness in line with the Kingdom's Economic Vision 2030.

'The launch of the Marketing Assistance Scheme is a continuation of the support programme’s success in bridging the existing gaps and meeting the most pressing needs of the Bahraini enterprises through the innovative services it offers,' said Mohammed Bucheery, senior manager (Private Sector Support).

The programme is a co-financing scheme provided by Tamkeen which provides eligible enterprises with professional consultancy services to develop and implement integrated and innovative marketing strategies.

This will ultimately present enterprises more favorably to customers in order to help them develop their businesses and place them on the right track toward prosperity, he added.

Marketing, Bucheery said, is a science that is constantly evolving - especially in today’s era of the Internet and instant information – which requires enterprises to modernise and update their marketing techniques.

He said the scheme was developed in response to the regular assessment studies and continuous feedback between Bahraini enterprises on one hand, and Tamkeen and KPMG Fakhro, which manages the programme on behalf of Tamkeen, on the other.

The scheme is the latest addition to the group of schemes that Tamkeen offers under its flagship programme. These include the business development scheme, technical assistance scheme, the quality management systems scheme, and growth assistance scheme.

Bucheery called on Bahraini entrepreneurs who wish to benefit from this innovative scheme or any other Enterprise Development Support Programme scheme to contact the Enterprise Development Support Agency to attend the '1-hour Accelerator.'

KPMG Fakhro holds two daily orientation sessions in Arabic and one weekly session in English at its office at Meral Building, Seef District, he added.       

More than 300 enterprises have benefited from the technical and advisory support offered by the Enterprise Development Support Prgramme since the launch of the second phase of the programme late last year, the official said.-
