Business & Finance Group - Education - Doha: H.E the Minister of Education and Higher Education Saad bin Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud will open tomorrow evening the 52nd Conference of the International Council for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport, and Dance (ICHPER?SD).

The Conference official opening ceremony, which will be held at the Grand Regency Hotel, will include a documentary about sports in Qatar and the School Olympic Programme. H.E. the Secretary General of Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Sheikh Saud bin Abdurrahman Al-Thani who is also chairman of the Organizing Committee will give a speech on the occasion to be followed by a similar speech by ICHPER President Dr. Dong Ja Yang.

The opening session will also feature the presentation of honourary shields from the ICHPER to H.E. the Minister of Education and Higher Education, the H.E. the QOC Secretary General and H.E. the Education and Higher Education Undersecretary Rabi''a Mohamed Al-Kaabi, the Organizing Committee''s Deputy Chairman. ICHPER Chairman and members of the Council''s executive committee as well as key participants, speakers and members of the ICHPER's board of governors arrived in Doha during the past two days to take part in the event.
