business & finance club - uae : Following on from an enquiry at the Hotel Show in Dubai, SpaceBreeze (EU) Ltd received an order, via its Qatar Distributor, the Al Emadi Group, for seven of its AerFresco CP7 patio cooler/heaters.

In cooperation with Al Emadi, Richard Ellicott, the MD of SpaceBreeze visited the customer, Construction Development Company (CDC) at their headquarters in Doha to discuss the project involving the first Hotel to be constructed and finished at CDC's prestigious Pearl development.

The brief was to provide a unique level of "year round" customer comfort for the Pearl's outdoor dining area.

Due to the level of luxury already provided at the hotel there was only one solution, the AerFresco CP7.

The noise and pollution that are associated with conventional misting systems and gas powered patio heaters, were completely unacceptable so the solution lay with the CP7 offers, cooling, infra red heating and high pressure, chilled water misting all in one quiet, heavy duty package.

After the visit an order was placed for seven pieces; these have now been installed and have been running successfully for several months; furthermore, it is the intention of CDC to purchase and install additional AerFresco units at prior to the opening of its next Hotel.

SpaceBreeze also reports that despite the economic slow down, it is close to finalising a number of other multiple sales in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain. Richard Ellicott believes that because hotel visitor numbers are generally down in the Gulf area, the high end hotels are seeking to attract a greater share of fewer customers by offering an enhanced dining experience. At the same time they are able to make full use of those outside dining areas that would not normally be available due to local extreme climatic conditions.

The standard AerFresco CP7 has over 7 kW of cooling and can transform the immediate area under the parasol or sunshade extension into an oasis of comfort for diners, or those who just want socialize outdoors without suffering from the harmful effects of the sun - "Al Fresco with AerFresco".

The AerFresco CP7 offers many comfort enhancing options to the standard product, including:

* A clip-on, heavy duty sunshade extension, which extends the sun protection area to over 4 metres diameter:

* Four, 1.1 kW infra red heaters:

* A misting system to enhance the cooling effect with programmable "flash evaporation" fine mist:

* Two piece, hardwood dining table or Hi-Bar table, which can seat up to eight people:

* LED lighting, which provides permanent or phased lighting in single or multi colours:

* A "Privacy Cloak" or "Breeze Cheater", a full length, flame retardent lightweight screen which zips onto the periphery of the sunshade extension and creates a discreet dining and breeze free experience.

* An adjustable aluminium table suitable for glasses and ash trays.

The AerFresco CP7 is available for both commercial and residential use and only requires a single phase power supply
