New $16m Bahraini hospital to open in Nov

Business & Finance Club - Manama : A new BD6m ($16m) private hospital in Bahrain is on schedule to open in November.

The four-storey Royal Bahrain Hospital (RBH) will have 670 beds and employ 70 doctors and 110 nurses.

The hospital, set to open on November 15, affiliated to the Kerala Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) in Trivandrum, Kerala. It will specialise in cosmetic and dental surgery.

Operational management will be undertaken by Sharjah-based healthcare management group KIMS Management International, the paper reports.

The hospital will also have a 24-hour emergency and radiology department and critical care units.
