Business & Finance Club Magazine - Trasportation - Oman: Ali bin Hamoud al Ya'aqoubi, Director General of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in the Northern Al Batinah Region has affirmed that it has begun to implement projects of the Royal tours in the wilayats of the region after giving the specialized companies the work locations in the wilayats.

     Al Ya'aqoubi said that internal roads will be paved for 80 Km long and 600 lighting poles will be installed in the Wilayat of Al Suwaiq. Roads will also be paved for 70 Km long and 600 lighting poles will be installed in the Wilayat of Al Khabourah whilst roads will be paved for 70 Km long and 600 lighting poles will be installed in the Wilayat of Saham.

     He also added that roads will be paved for 36 Km long and 400 lighting poles will be installed in the Wilayat of Liwa, internal roads will also be paved for 30 Km long and 400 lighting poles will be installed in the Wilayat of Shinas, in addition to, paving car parking in front of mosques and schools in each wilayat of the region according to the laid down plan.

     Al Ya'aqoubi also pointed out that the region's municipalities will supervise and follow up the work progress as per the comprehensive strategy to disseminate municipal services, developing construction movement and developmental projects in paving and lighting roads among other works in the Northern Al Batinah Region.
