Business & Finance Club - Real Estate - Abu Dhabi: Representative of President in Western Region HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has ordered building of 400 residential units for citizens in Sala town in Western Region. It will also include clinics, schools, parks and other premises.
The move follows the instructions from President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow up from HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to build an integrated city.
Sheikh Hamdan said the new city will see light during next six months after endorsement of designs and invitation of tender ahead of submitting it to the Executive Authority to endorse the budget.
This came during a tour to Sala town paid by Sheikh Hamdan to inspect conditions of the citizens and ensure services were rendered to the towns, areas and environs of the Abu Dhabi emirate. He listened to the views and opinions of the citizens regarding the services. Sheikh Hamdan ordered meeting of their requirements.
He expressed his pleasure about the new modern residencies to the UAE nationals, adding that they will ensure family stability and good living conditions.
On their part, Sala citizens expressed their pleasure about meeting Sheikh Hamdan, wishing him success to serve the country.
Sheikh Hamdan opened the Sala Centre for People with Special Needs of The Zayed Higher Foundation for Humanitarian Care, People with Special Needs and Minor's Affairs . He said this category enjoys full support from the leadership.
Present were HE Mohammed Fadil Al Hamili, Deputy Board Chairman, Secretary General of the foundation, Mariam Saif Al Qubaisi, head of the people with special needs sector at the foundation and Naema Al Mansouri, board member of the foundation, director of the blind printers.
Al Hamili stressed care of Sheikh Hamdan about the people with special needs.
Sheikh Hamdan was accompanied during the tour by HE Hamoud Humaid Al Mansouri, director general of Western Region Municipality.
