Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, have authorized the utilization of IATA Travel Pass for its passengers traveling to ten destinations across the world.

This famous airline stated that it intends to make the pass available on all of its destinations.

Emirates authorities stated that now the airline has collaborated with the UAE government's COVID-19 monitoring app, Al Hosn, to simplify travel processes for its passengers.

The UAE government announced that the application is back up and running following a brief interruption that disrupted services last week.

An SMS and email containing an activation code will be given to travelers prompting them to download the IATA Travel Pass app.

The application is accessible for both iOS and Android devices. Emirates also stated that it will incorporate the Al Hosn app for its clients beginning in July.

The sole purpose of the IATA Travel Pass is to give governments, airlines, laboratories, and travelers with the most up-to-date COVID-19 information.

Adel Al Redha, Chief Operating Officer of Emirates, claimed that the airline has upgraded all of its frontiers to deal with current travel requirements. This has a biometric system implanted at the airport and has recently tested its contactless and digital travel verification initiatives, where residents could obtain a boarding pass with a simple scan of their Emirates ID.

According to Redha, the goal is to give clients ease and assurance. The Emirates worked with UAE health officials to make travel regulations as easy as possible.

A scan of the customer's Emirates ID at the airline's airport counter will provide the worker with information on the customer's PCR test and vaccination date.

Redha conveyed gratitude to the authorities and foreign partners for their assistance in bringing the projects to successful implementation.

According to the Emirates website, passengers traveling between Dubai and the following cities could use Travel Pass to obtain all COVID-19-related information and the necessary travel papers to visit the city. Emirates passengers can utilize the pass in the following cities:

London, Barcelona, Madrid, Istanbul, New York JFK, Moscow, Frankfurt, Charles De Gaulle, and Amsterdam.
