A deal is finalized to establish the headquarters of IATA in Saudi Arabia

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has agreed to establish its regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia.

The contract was signed at the GACA headquarters in Riyadh by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and Kamel Hassan Al-Awadi, Vice President of IATA (International Air Transport Association) for Africa and the Middle East area.

Addressing the event, the GACA president wished IATA success, emphasizing the significance of increasing cooperative and efficient collaboration with international and regional institutions for growth in the air transport industry at both global and national levels.

The deal is part of the Kingdom's intention of supporting regional and international civil aviation organizations and offering them numerous forms of support for their role in the development of air transport, in addition to the Kingdom's commitment to assist and empower organizations centered in the Kingdom.

The IATA (International Air Transport Association) in the Kingdom is providing required assistance to air transport businesses on a local and regional level. It also provides data and information related to the international air travel to the Kingdom's civil aviation sector.
