During the Arabian Travel Market, the Republic of San Marino will display its distinctive attractions and legacy in the UAE for the first time (ATM).

Federico Pedini Amati, Minister of Tourism and Expo for the Republic of San Marino, told Gulf Today that they would be thrilled to become a part of the Arabian Travel Market and share recent innovations for tourism and highlight our involvement at Dubai Expo as we come together to improve and rebuild trust in travel and highlight our country's appeal to potential customers all around the world.

“This ATM is a fantastic chance to promote our country's capabilities and providing a brief look into our culture and shared interests,” he said.

“We would also like guests to enjoy a piece of San Marino in the UAE since we have a distinctive Fibula - a brooch in the shape of an eagle that is now on display at the Louvre Abu Dhabi.”

“The ATM is a perfect platform for the country to converse and indulge with partners, media, and sponsors about profound cultural and economic ties between San Marino and the UAE, and reinforce critical relationships to encourage more tourists to visit cultural sites, natural areas, retail, and tourist destinations inside the Republic of San Marino,” the minister stated.

As the nation prepares to participate in Expo Dubai, our presence at ATM strengthens the government's attempts to present itself as a must-see tourism destination tucked within Italy and readily accessible through important airports such as Rome and Bologna.

The most valuable component of the treasure, the fibula, is presently on display at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The pavilion will however highlight the tale of the country's history and traditions, and its current economic structure focused on tourism and creative businesses. San Marino's national day at Expo 2020 will happen on December 10, 2021.

Mauro Maiani, Ambassador to the UAE and Commissioner General of Expo 2020, stated, "We are willing to offer our country as a destination for many sorts of tourists." Tourists could enjoy a traditional Italian tourist trip, attend cultural and festival events that we conduct mostly throughout the summer, and we also serve the wedding tourism sector. San Marino is a shopping hotspot, with a bustling old town and the brand new San Marino Outlet Experience, one of the largest Italian fashion outlet malls in northern Italy, planned to begin on June 24.”
