Saudi Arabia made the biggest sacrifices to strengthen the oil market: Energy Minister

Saudi Arabia, according to Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman, has made the biggest sacrifices, and the oil market wouldn't even have recovered without its leadership.

Except for one country, the Minister stated in an interview with Al-Alrabiya TV on Sunday that there has been unanimity among OPEC+ nations on prolonging the OPEC+ accord.

“If there are reservations in any nation, why would they previously remain quiet regarding it?” In my capacity as president of OPEC+, I portray a balanced nation that prioritizes the interests of all.”

The Minister also expressed his skepticism regarding the next OPEC+ conference.

“I have attended OPEC+ meetings for last 34 years and haven't seen such a demand; I am neither hopeful nor apprehensive about the forthcoming OPEC+ gathering,” Prince Abdulaziz remarked.

Prince Abdulaziz went on to say that no government could use one month's production as a benchmark.

“Saudi Arabia and Russia have always been allies in the idea to prolong the OPEC + deal and boost production,” stated Prince Abdulaziz.
