Through the use of the “Trakheesi” scheme on the department's website, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has released 4,202 separate real estate licenses, including 255,579 real estate ads in 2020.

Users may apply for different real estate licenses through the system at any time without actually visiting the DLD, which is following the current precautionary measures aimed at restricting the spread of COVID-19 among people.

With 3,520 permits obtained through the Real Estate Regulatory Agencies of the Real Estate Licensing Department in 2020, electronic advertisement permits reached the top of the list of permits obtained through the Real Estate Regulatory Agencies of the Real Estate Licensing Department which is almost 83.7%.

It further followed by 142 Outdoor advertisements permits, 125 billboards permits, 99 SMSs permits, 94 permits of car advertisements, 63 real estate marketing channels permits, 45 printed advertisements permits, 42 classified advertisements permits, 21 newspaper advertisements permits, 17 open-day permits, 16 promotional campaign permits, 9 real estate symposium permits, 5 project inauguration ceremony permits, and 2 organizing real estate exhibitions permits.

“At DLD, we are aware of the significance and pivotal role real estate permits have in fostering the real estate industry, generating more competition in the real estate market, establishing a safe real estate environment free from misapplication,” Ali Abdulla Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Licensing Department at RERA, said. As a result, we are actively striving towards easily acquiring various permits. We have invited real estate companies to apply for this facility through the use of the electronic Trakheesi system in few minutes.
