Quarterly payment of work permits in advance service will be shortly commenced by MHRSD

Eng. Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), said that the ministry would soon introduce a facility to pay work permit charges for a minimum of three months in advance.

Al-Rajhi stated during a meeting of the National Committee for Recreation and Entertainment on Sunday that the ministry is attempting to undertake significant reforms in the labor market, involving both the public and private sectors.

“The private sector, and also the Council of Saudi Chambers, was involved in the development of the ministry's labor market choices and initiatives,” he said.

Al-Rajhi appreciated the collaborative actions in developing future goals, noting that numerous objectives contributed to the expansion of private-sector enterprises over the previous time.

He stated that there are highly qualified cadres who work in a wide variety of commercial sectors, which would expedite the Kingdom's economic growth following Vision 2030.
