The Crown Prince donates SR100 million for charitable causes and the release of over 150 insolvent inmates

Princess Tarfa

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman has contributed SR100 million from his funds to humanitarian organizations.

According to the Crown Prince's instructions, SR87 million of the SR100 million is earmarked for 29 voluntary societies across Saudi Arabia and must be invested within days.

The additional SR13 million is intended to settle the loans of more than 150 inmates who are bankrupt in financial legal cases allowing them to be discharged and returning to their parents and families.

This assistance is provided by the "SNAD Muhammad Bin Salman" scheme, which facilitates charitable organizations to offer services to eight different communities in the society.

Women's benevolent organizations, charities for those with disabilities, charities for cancer treatment, charities for widows and divorced women, charities for orphans, Down syndrome charitable organizations, charities for educational insurance, and charities for the elderly are among the organizations.

Each of them will receive monetary aid for their implementation plans, which will include preparation, counseling, encouragement, and sustainable development.

Besides that, the discharge of prisoners entails settling the debts of even more than 150 bankrupt prisoners who were incapable of paying off their debts provided that the money owing by prisoners was not used in unlawful matters and that they were never engaged in any criminal offense.

The Crown Prince's assistance for non-profit work in the Kingdom demonstrates his participation in charitable work and his support for all non-profit organizations in compliance with the frameworks outlined in the Muhammad Bin Salman Charitable Project, which is associated with the "SNAD Muhammad Bin Salman."
