Almarai and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) lately signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that would allow Almarai to deliver free food baskets to underprivileged families via the national platform "Ehsan" for a charity activity.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Almarai CEO Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader and SDAIA CEO "Ehsan" Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi.

"The formation of this agreement comes as part of Almarai Corporate Citizenship Program and the company's keenness to assist charitable sector initiatives by collaborating with official platforms," said Almarai CEO Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader.

Almarai, according to Al-Bader, has a program that has been in existence for many years to help families in need by distributing food baskets. Almarai claims to support more than 300 charitable organizations in numerous regions of the Kingdom through this initiative each year.

It is worth noting that Almarai took part in the “National Campaign for Charitable Work” during Ramadan by contributing one million Saudi riyals through the use of the Ehsan platform. Almarai's goal is to maximize the philanthropic sector's effect in the Kingdom, to strengthen it technologically through collaborations with the government and commercial sectors, and also to increase the sector's contribution to GDP.
