Aged Man Was Murdered As a Test by Brussels Bombers

London: 2 brothers who have previously murdered several people in suicide attacks in Belgium were murdered an aged man many years ago to notice what is meant by killing, as per media reports.

Khalid and hid brother Ibrahim El-Bakraoui chose a metro station and Zaventem airport in 2016 to bomb and it claimed about 31 lives.

Now, these two brothers implicate in an unsolved murder case of 2014 in which Paul-André Vanderperren (71) was shot dead in a Brussels street. Erstwhile, the case was like a mystery to the investigators.

The revelation found when 2 surviving attackers from the bombing, Osama Krayem and Mohamed Abrini were interrogated regarding the blast.

Abrini and Krayem will experience trial in the next year for their respective role in blast as per the transcripts noticed in the newspaper by De Morgan, in December 2016, Krayem said the interrogators that, “Khalid said me that Ibrahim and he shot someone dead on the street.”

A few days later he said, “Khalid detailed that the person was old and they were just testing how it like is by killing someone.”

In respect to the comment of Krayem, it is clear that the accused is dead for now implying that the case of Vanderperren can be reopened.

As per De Morgan, the widow of Vanderperren had been informed by the lawyers that her husband was been killed by El-Bakraoui brothers last year.

She said in the report, “I’m still confused with so many questions but indeed it is a relief.”

However, BBC reports that the prosecutors of the Brussels haven’t found any sufficed evidence yet for reopening the case and the federal prosecutors are not also dealing with it at present.
