Genocide Allegations in Xinjiang Has Been Claimed As First Independent Report for ‘Intent to Destroy’ Uyghur People by Beijing

Hong Kong: Alleged actions of Chinese government in Xinjiang have been violated the provision of United Nations' Genocide Convention as per independent report of about 50 global experts of human rights, international law and war crimes.

As per the report on Tuesday by Newlines Institute for Strategy and Policy think tank in Washington DC stated that the Chinese government has been borne the sate responsibility for the consistent genocide against Uyghur for breaching Genocide Convention of UN.

This is the very first time that any non-governmental organization undertakes the independent legal analysis of genocide accusations in Xinjiang with the responsibility for what Beijing is accepting the alleged crimes.

According to the US State Department about 2 million of Muslim minorities and Uyghurs might have been placed in any detention centre of its sprawling network in the region. The former detainees will be subjected to forcible sterilization, sexual abuse and indoctrination. But China disapproves the allegations of abuse against human rights stating that centers should prevent religious terrorism and extremism.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the press conference on 7th March said allegations of the genocide in Xinjiang can’t be more ridiculous.

On 19th January the ongoing administration of Trump declared genocide in Xinjiang has been committed by Chinese government. After a month both Canadian and Dutch parliaments have passed identical statements irrespective of being opponents to the leaders.

Director of special initiatives at Newlines and co-author of the new report, Azeem Ibrahim said, “Overwhelming evidence of genocidal allegation has been found at the spot. And it is a global power in which genocide is the architect of leadership.”
