Mohamed Mishfak, a Sri Lankan expat of Abu Dhabi, won Dhs12 million in Abu Dhabi Big Ticket raffle draw

Mohamed Mishfak, a Sri Lankan foreigner living in Dubai, won the Dhs12 million Big Ticket jackpot in Abu Dhabi on Monday. Mishfak, who is currently living in Dubai, purchased the winning lottery ticket online.

He was on holiday in Sri Lanka and surprisingly won the grand prize despite the pandemic.

“Congratulations to Mohamed Mishfak, from Sri Lanka, with winning ticket no. 054978,” Big Ticket Abu Dhabi said on Facebook. In The Dream 12 Million series 227, he received Dhs 12 million.”

And apart from Mishfak, an Indian national named Kutubbhai was the winner of the Big Ticket Dream Car.

“Heartiest Congratulations to Kutubbhai Hakimuddinbhai Rajanpurwala with Ticket No. 009630, who is from India for winning the Dream Car Porsche 718 Spyder series 1!” said Big Ticket.

The Big Ticket, is the UAE's oldest and largest running raffle draw, which is conducted at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Ain Airport, and also conducted online at www.bigticket.ae.

According to the raffle draw, “What apparently started with a million Dirham cash reward progressively expanded through the years, and this is on Big Ticket's 29th year, we are apparently going to give away grand prizes of up to 20 Million Dirham.”

The raffle draw promises cash prizes that range from month to month, with Big Ticket awarding the winners a minimum of ten million dirham up to our largest jackpot of twenty million.
