More tourists from outside of the Kingdom are anticipated to visit during the last ten days of Ramadan, according to Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah.

Besides that, Dr. Mashat has also recommended against engaging with any internet accounts or websites pretending to grant approvals for Umrah or prayer in the Grand Mosque.

Dr. Mashat confirmed that the security officials are carrying out their responsibilities and doing an excellent job of tracking. They are following up the details on these pages, and prosecuting anyone who breaks the rules.

Dr. Mashat said in the Nashrat Al-Nahar (Day Bulletin) on the Al-Ekhbariah satellite channel, "Be very careful. Don't ever, ever mess with them. There is a substantial threat that you will end up disclosing confidential information to someone you're not aware of.”

During the last ten days of Ramadan, Mashat anticipates an immense rise in the number of tourists arriving in the Kingdom to conduct Umrah.” He went on to say, "We have opened a number of "Care Centers" near the Grand Mosque in Makkah for the visitors."

They have direct services and issue Umrah and prayer certificates to tourists when they land in the Kingdom, also verifying that all health precautions and protocols have been thoroughly followed. There are Umrah professional companies whose key role is to coordinate Umrah pilgrims from other countries. These firms work together with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to grant permits ahead of time.
