The “Made in Saudi” program will be launched on March 28 under the patronage of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman by Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef, who happens to be the chairman of the Board of the Saudi Export Production Authority (SAUDI EXPORTS).

The program's goal is to promote national products and services on a local and international scale.

The “Made in Saudi” program emerged from a desire to promote the national product and extend its position in light of the national product’s characteristics which include high quality and competitiveness at regional and international levels. It is also working towards raising awareness and trust in local products and factories throughout all levels.

The software will be introduced via a virtual event, during which the "Made in Saudi" logo will be unveiled, according to SAUDI EXPORTS.

The logo will serve as an only identity for Saudi products and services. It will also act as an official identity for the promotion of Saudi products and services both locally and globally.

In the presence of numerous media outlets, the minister of industry and mineral resources and chairman of the authority will hold a press conference to clarify the program's plans, objectives, and work process.

It's worth noting that the "Made in Saudi" initiative is a key factor in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 economic goals. It includes diversifying the national economy's income sources and elevating the status of Saudi goods to the highest levels of credibility and excellence, to contribute to guiding purchasing power toward local products and services until the year 2030.
