Dubai: The resolution stating the appointment of Dr. Saeed Abdullah as Secretary-General of the Federal Demographic Structure Council (FDSC) is approved by the UAE Cabinet lead by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The resolution is a effort for the promotion of performances of institutions of the federal government to raise the efficiency, upgrading the administrative system of the government while offering the top-notch services.

Dr. Saeed Abdullah is the scholar in social policies, demographics, labor, business economics, economical development, strategic operations, productivity and demographic structures and recruitment and immigration. He was the former Acting Secretary-General at FDSC in 2018 and earlier was worked as Assistant Secretary-General for Policies and Research Division from 2013-18. He was also Director of National Programme for Productivity Improvement from 2011-18.

He is doctorate in Information and Operations Management from Mays Business School of University of Texas. He pursued his master’s degree from University of Miami in Administrative Sciences and the bachelor’s degree from Toledo University in USA in Industrial Engineering.

Being its establishment in 2009, FDSC opens the studying of citizen demographics and social and economic characteristics in an academic and comprehensive manner. It cooperates with every other coherent authorities and departments for drafting the overall methodology for accounting the demographical issues. Accordingly, relevant solution will be found for attaining the requirements of national sustainable development and demographic policy to preserve national identities and strengthen the citizens’ role towards society.
