Sarah Al-Suhaimi appointed to the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation's board of directors

The Council of Ministers has voted to appoint Sarah Bint Jammaz Al-Suhaimi to the Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation Board of Directors as a representative of the private sector.

“I congratulate Sarah Al-Suhaimi on the announcement of the cabinet decision and assigning her as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Airlines General Organization. She is the first female to join the corporation's Board of Directors since its establishment 75 years ago,” said Transport Minister Saleh Al-Jasser on his official Twitter account. We wish her happiness and look forwards to our company's continued growth and prosperity in the future.”

Previously, Sarah Bint Jammaz Al-Suhaimi has held a variety of important roles in the Kingdom over the course of her prolific career. It includes the role of CEO of Al-Ahly Financial Company and also a prestigious member of the Board of Directors for 7 years.

Sarah Al-Suhaimi is also the first Saudi female to be promoted to a senior position in the Saudi Stock Exchange's "Tadawul" management. And it sure is a proud moment.

Earlier, Al-Suhaimi also worked at Jadwa Investment Company as an executive director and head of the asset management department's investment department. She entered the company in May 2007 as the first manager in charge of investment portfolios. She probably is the first Saudi woman, who held such a senior role in the company. This role was founded in the year 2007 by a resolution of the Saudi Council of Ministers.
