Israel inaugurates the first-ever embassy in UAE

Yair Lapid, Israel's Foreign Minister officially inaugurated the Israeli Embassy in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

The Israeli minister is in the UAE for two days, the first visit by an Israeli cabinet official.

So during the ribbon-cutting event, Lipid stated that Israel seeks peace with all of its neighbors. We have no plans to leave. Our home is in the Middle East. We intend to stay, and we urge other countries in the area to acknowledge this.

The embassy was officially opened by Lipid in the presence of Noura Al Kaabi, the Emirati Minister of Culture and Youth.

“This is a breakthrough moment in history. It also serves as a reminder that individuals make history. Individuals who are aware of the history but want to change it. Individuals who choose the future over the past,” Lipid said later at the news conference.

The Abu Dhabi high-rise office will operate as a temporary embassy. The Gulf kingdom formally opened its embassy in Tel Aviv, which is located in the Israeli stock exchange.

The Abraham Accords, as per Israel's new foreign minister, would bring peace to the area. Since establishing connections, the two nations' commercial relations have grown.

Over 200,000 Israelis have visited the UAE since the start of air services, according to Lipid, have spoken to the media in Abu Dhabi. The majority of visitors visited Dubai.
