Sharjah Islamic Bank has opened a new branch in Abu Dhabi Mall

Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB) has announced the opening of its newest branch in Abu Dhabi Mall. The initiative constitutes a substantial step forward in extending the bank's network in the UAE and reaching out to the capital city's expanding client base.

The new branch's inauguration ceremony was participated by Ahmed Saad, DCEO of Sharjah Islamic Bank, Nabil Abou Alwan, Head of Retail Banking Group at SIB attended the opening ceremony alongside Maged Shaaban, Head of Branches Network and Direct Sales, Retail Banking at SIB, and Houria Ahmed, Manager of Abu Dhabi Mall Branch, Guillaume Darlix, the Chief Commercial Officer in the retail department of Abu Dhabi Mall, and SIB’s Corporate Communications team, along with senior bank executives.

Nabil Abou Alwan confirmed that SIB is eager to expand its operations and enhance its network of offices throughout the nation, including that of the capital Abu Dhabi. SIB's administration is also contemplating moving some of its current branches to provide clients with more easy access.

Alwan went on to say that the launching in Abu Dhabi Mall, in particular, and commercial hubs in general, enables the bank to be open for extended time periods that fit their clients and satisfy their demands. According to the Head of Retail Banking Group at SIB, the new bank is the third SIB branch in the capital and therefore will serve as a replacement for the former facility on Electra Street. It would also be the first SIB branch in Abu Dhabi to operate in two shifts - morning and evening - to better serve shoppers and mall-goers.
