Saudi Arabia, UAE signed a MoU in aviation security

As per the Saudi Press Agency, the civil aviation authorities of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the domain of aviation security.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was struck here on Tuesday by President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz Al-Duailej and Director-General of the General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi.

The MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) seeks to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the domain of aviation security, which would help to the modernization of the aviation sector's administrative, organizational, operational, and technological areas.

The MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) covered several topics, including the exchange of experiences, the development, and improvement of civil aviation security infrastructure, and the application of best processes and applications used throughout the field of software systems, in regards to the benefit of qualified technical cadres from both countries and some other items that enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
