Arada has won the contract to develop The Boulevard, an affluent residential complex in its Sharjah mega-community Aljada.
The Boulevard, located on the outskirts of Aljada's ultra-modern East Village neighborhood, consists of three apartment towers with a plethora of services and surrounded by a beautiful green landscape. The nine-story buildings are situated adjacent to Aljada's main boulevard, an exquisite tree-lined thoroughfare dotted with stores, restaurants, and cafés.
The Dhs180 million project was obtained by Dubai-based Al Ashram Contracting, a prominent construction business with over 45 years of expertise in the UAE developing a diverse variety of residential, commercial, hotel, and infrastructure projects. Construction on The Boulevard will begin immediately, and residences will be finished by the end of 2022.
“This milestone is indicative of our desire to move forward quickly with our building ambitions in one of the UAE's fastest-growing societies,” said Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Arada. These unusual and high-end residences in one of Aljada's most desired areas have been well received by investors and end-users, and when completed, will be a great addition to Sharjah's property landscape.”
The Boulevard buildings, which have roughly 600 units in total, provide a variety of one-, two-, and three-bedroom flats in a variety of sizes and floorplans aimed at singles, young couples, and families. All apartments incorporate smart home technology as standard, and the complex also contains a fully stocked fitness centre, a communal swimming pool, and a variety of eateries and retail stores on the ground floor.
Arada has indeed constructed 465 apartments in seven apartment buildings in Aljada, with yet another seven apartment buildings and a townhouse and villa complex set to be finished in the coming months. In February, the developer also granted a Dhs367 million deal to construct Nest, a world-class student housing complex.
Aljada, which spans a 24 million square foot area, is conveniently situated on the final huge plot of land in the center of New Sharjah. Aljada has several residential areas and major retail, hotel, entertainment, athletic, educational, and healthcare components, all situated within a green urban master plan.
Madar at Aljada, a new family entertainment center designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, was also the first section of the megaproject to be finished in February 2020 and has already greeted over 1.5 million guests.
Arada, based in the United Arab Emirates, is a developer dedicated to creating communities that nourish, engage, and inspire their citizens. Our houses are wonderfully designed and come standard with best-in-class features, all at an affordable price.
Arada, a UAE-based real estate developer, unveiled this week the Nasma Residences community in Sharjah's retail and leisure center. Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Arada, launched the lifestyle hub just in time for Eid Al Fitr. He also showcased Nasma Central's centerpiece: a man-made hilltop site and memorial pavilion with stunning views of the nearby neighborhoods.
Arada stated in a statement that the centre will serve both Nasma Residences residents and tourists from adjacent villages. Nasma Central's retail mix includes a Spinneys grocery, a Starbucks drive-thru, a Wellfit club, and the new café idea Origins Koffee Lab and Kitchen.
It further said that guests to Nasma Central Park would be able to experience 450,000 square feet of planted green space, and several athletic amenities.
Nasma Residences is a completely integrated community with approximately 1,100 residences, an international school, a mosque, and two smaller neighborhood parks, and also Nasma Central and Nasma Central Park.
The construction is well-connected to Dubai and the rest of the Northern Emirates, and it is only a few minutes away from Arada's new wooded community project Masaar, the planned Sharjah Botanical Garden, Tilal City, and the new Sharjah Convention Centre.
Sheikh Sultan remarked at the opening, "The inauguration of this new attraction at the heart of Nasma Residences is a historical event for the community." The road up the hill and the magnificently built pavilion at the top commemorate the life of Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the former Deputy Ruler of Sharjah who passed away in 2020.”
The 15-meter-high man-made hill serves as the showpiece of Nasma Central and Nasma Central Park, which provide a variety of retail, dining, resting, and sports amenities.
The circular route to the mountaintop includes a series of rest stations that highlight major milestones from Sheikh Ahmed's career, representing more than 50 years of public service to the growth and prosperity of Sharjah and the entire UAE.
The Sheikh Ahmed Pavilion, an architectural statement in and of itself, gives a high vantage point with dual panoramas over Nasma Residences and Masaar, Arada's third neighborhood, and the historic Sharjah Mosque, he remarked.
