In a meeting with Malaysian counterpart, Al-Khorayef explores investment prospects in Saudi Arabia

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef met with the Malaysian Minister of International Trade and Industry Mohamed Azmin Ali and the accompanying team on Wednesday in his office. Developments related to cooperative ventures and partnerships in different fields were explored during the conference.

They examined several business opportunities and attempted to deepen bilateral economic relations, especially in the industrial sector.

The ministers have looked at potential export prospects between the two countries. The meeting discussed Saudi Arabia's industrial development and also the potential of the Saudi market for investments in a range of fields.

Al-Khorayef welcomed Malaysian businessmen to engage in the Kingdom’s investment prospects and reap the benefits of the government's new legislation, which is involved in the local material and leverages the exciting possibilities in the Saudi industry. It also looks forward to capitalize on the Kingdom's strategic geographical position to enter regional and international markets.

The Kingdom's manufacturing sector is a critical component of Vision 2030 for reaching the required economic development targets. To draw the investments to the market, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources is working to boost the investment climate in Saudi Arabia.
