The GCC is poised to resolve a shortage of quaternary care services, thanks to a new partnership.

KEF Healthcare's Meitra Care Network (MCN) has announced a collaboration with the Canadian Specialist Hospital (CSH) to open a joint hub of excellence for heart and vascular care in the UAE.

This collaboration has the opportunity to overcome the GCC's shortage of quaternary care facilities while also reducing the cost of quaternary care surgeries. These comprehensive transplant initiatives will be established by a team of experts affiliated with Meitra Care Network, which holds the Asian record for the most heart and lung transplants: Dr. K.R. Balakrishnan has conducted over 375 heart and lung transplants and is accredited with many first-of-its-kind heart surgeries in India.

Meitra Care Network is a growing healthcare ecosystem that draws together primary, secondary, tertiary, quaternary, and critical care service providers into a single integrated system linked by physical and social infrastructure to provide the best healthcare services at a reasonable cost.

The hub of excellence will be a first-of-its-kind healthcare platform in Dubai and the Middle East, leveraging KEF Healthcare's MCN network to provide seamless healthcare services.
