Roxtec Saudi Arabia, a maker of pipe and cable safety sealants, has unveiled a new online software application aimed to accelerate and streamline offshore oil and gas and construction projects in the Kingdom.

Roxtec Transit Build makes it much easier for enterprises to oversee the placement and approval of Roxtec goods. The quality enhancement tool operates both online and offline and could be regularly updated to offer real-time tracking, accurate progress reports, and systemized quality control for every cable and pipe transit installation.

Roxtec is a world pioneer in cable and pipe sealing, which safeguards people and assets from a variety of threats such as fire, floods, explosion danger, and electromagnetic disturbances. Over the last two decades, the business has supported a diverse range of projects throughout the Kingdom, notably communications and water infrastructure, petrochemical plants, and onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.

“Roxtec Transit Build satisfies the rising client requirement for more digitalization,” stated Firas Kafafi, Roxtec Saudi Arabia Director of Middle East Operations. It is indeed a completely web-based system that can be accessed using a smartphone, tablet, or computer, without any need to download or install any new software.

“This is a user-friendly tool with strong features. It will assist organizations in saving time, lowering costs, and securing the whole installation process by assuring a smooth workflow and the establishment of a completely recorded transit register.”

Roxtec Transit Build provides on-site access to work orders, drawings, and installation guidelines to installers. Each person transit is given an ID tag with a QR code, which allows installers to send back status updates which include the transit's specific placement on the layout, work progress, and images of the job done. Roxtec Transit Build is then utilized to transmit a requisition to the on-site quality supervisor who may digitally accept or demand a re-work order.

“The reaction we have got from clients thus far has been extraordinarily positive,” Mr. Kafafi remarked. One of the software's early users said that it helped them to cut their working hours on cable and pipe transit time by 60%.”

Roxtec Transit Build is a component of the Roxtec Software Suite, a collection of interconnected tools created to make work with design, drawings, and certifications, and setup, quality checks, and obligatory documentation, easier. The software was launched through a webinar event that is still available on request.

Roxtec Saudi Arabia, the company's 28th subsidiary, inaugurated its new base in Al Khobar in February this year, after more than 20 years of successful commerce in the Kingdom.
