Sharjah Airport bags in, ISO certification for its security system

Sharjah Airport Authority has hailed a new success through being awarded the ISO certification for the global information security management system for the second time, in accordance with its growth strategy and objective of delivering high-quality international services.

The certificate has been awarded for a three-year term after an audit and review process under which all processes and guidelines were verified to guarantee that they met global standards.

Information security is always improving. The Authority's receipt of the ISO 27001:

 2013 certification for three years, starting from January 2021 to January 2024, demonstrates its dedication to applying the highest international benchmarks for information security, and therefore a constant evaluation of all threats. In addition, a complete and effective set of information security rules and rules which apply to diverse operations must be developed and implemented.
