The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in the UAE has introduced a service that will enable golden residency applicants to obtain a six-month visa with multiple entries.

This will allow them to complete all of the procedures needed for the golden residency, which will be especially useful for those who travel frequently.

The cost of the six-month visa is Dh1,150, according to the authority's website, and it can be renewed once.

The six-month visa is only for the purpose of completing golden visa procedures, according to the document.

The categories eligible for the 6-month visa are:

· Investors in public investments or real estate

· Entrepreneurs

· Doctors and scientists

· Inventors

· PhD holders

· Athletes

· Creative specialists in culture and art

· Specialists in priority scientific fields

· Specialists in engineering and science those working for epidemiology and viruses, artificial intelligence, big data, computers, electronics, programming, electrical, genetics, and biotechnology.

· Outstanding students applying for high school or university.

Procedure for applying six-month visa:

The application process begins with a visit to the ICA website (https://smartservices.ica.gov.ae/) and the activation of the programme. Following that, applicants must correctly enter their information, upload appropriate attachments, review the information, and submit the application fees.

The applicant must update the necessary details and resubmit the request within 30 days if the application is returned for changes. If you do not comply, your application will be rejected.

The application will be automatically cancelled if it is returned to the applicant three times. If that happens, then the applicant will have to apply for a new application
