According to Indian media sources, a helicopter carrying LuLu Group Chairman M. A. Yousuf Ali made an emergency landing in Kochi, Kerala, on Sunday.

The helicopter carried six people, including Yousuf Ali and his wife. According to the news, all passengers are healthy, but some have minor injuries and have been taken to the hospital. When Yousuf Ali left the helicopter, he complained of back pain, but there were no noticeable injuries. Following the forced landing, police and firefighters were seen inspecting the area. According to reports, the technical problems that led to the emergency landing would most likely be investigated.

The helicopter was forced to land in a desolate area near Panagad's Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies.

The incident happened about 9 a.m., during light rain. Following a technical error, the helicopter landed on a swampy plot of land off the NH Bypass in Panangad. The pilot and others were taken to the hospital after walking through hip-deep water with the assistance of locals.

Yousuf Ali, his wife Shabira, and personal secretary Shahid P.K, the pilot and co-pilot are safe and healthy after the pilot chose to do an emergency landing due to rainy weather, according to V. Nandakumar, director of Marketing and Communications at Lulu.

Yusuff Ali M.A., who is reportedly in Kerala, was on his way to visit a relative at a nearby hospital. Because of the unexpected change of climatic conditions and torrential rainfall, the experienced pilots agreed to make a precautionary landing at a secure location to avoid endangering the passengers' or the general public's lives.
