Sharjah Sustainable City has received the Real Estate Excellence Award

Sharjah Sustainable City (SSC), an eco-friendly neighborhood developed by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), has earned the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Directorate's Real Estate Excellence Award for 2020. (SRERD).

The Real Estate Excellence Award is a Sharjah government program that honors exceptional achievements in the emirate's real estate sector. The awards are intended to promote and grow the industry by promoting quality and originality, and to boost activity and investment in this critical area of Sharjah's economy.

Yousif Ahmed Al-Mutawa, Chief Executive Officer of Sharjah Sustainable City, remarked on the award, saying, "I am delighted to collect the Real Estate Excellent Award 2020 on behalf of Sharjah Sustainable City." We are gratified to be recognized for our endeavors in pushing the frontiers of sustainable living from the heart of Sharjah by the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department and Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi, Director General of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Directorate. We are committed to building a community that provides realistic solutions for food security, water, and energy management, and natural resource conservation to benefit inhabitants and the world for many years to come.”

Sharjah Sustainable City, developed by Sharjah Investment and Development Authority in collaboration with Diamond Developers, won for its dedication to fulfilling the greatest standards of social, environmental, and economic sustainability.

Sharjah Sustainable City: Sharjah Sustainable City is a world-class mixed-use development spanning 7.2 million square feet of land in Sharjah's Al Rahmaniya Area. It consists of modern 3, 4, and 5-bedroom townhouses and corner units with a modern design characterized by innovative architecture that provides the maximum living space.

Sharjah Sustainable City was created with a net-zero approach to community development in mind. The city is entirely solar-powered, recycles all water and trash, grows vegetables and leafy greens on-site, and is intended to encourage walkability and the use of sustainable transportation.

Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and Diamond Developers collaborated to build the city to satisfy the highest environmental requirements.

The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department recently announced the completion of its campaign to update landowners' records in the real estate sector in different regions of Sharjah, which has been initiated in collaboration with Sharjah's District & Villages Affairs Department.

The campaign, which lasted from March 28th to May 29th, addressed all real estate owners in Sharjah, namely citizens, residents, and investors of all nationalities, to preserve landowners' rights and update their information.

Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Shamsi congratulated the campaign's achievement and praised the District & Villages Affairs Department, portrayed by its chairman, Khamis bin Salem Al Suwaidi, and most of its employees, for their full cooperation, utilizing all of the department's capabilities, and opening the doors of suburban councils in multiple regions to landowners through the earlier time which culminated in the campaign's success.
