1.3 million Captagon pills hidden inside fur clothes, seized by Saudi Customs

Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Customs reported that it had foiled an effort to smuggle more than 1.3 million Captagon pills from Turkey in a "furs" shipment.

1,323,000 Captagon pills were discovered concealed inside a consignment obtained by customs in Jeddah's Islamic Port and were discovered and eventually seized.

Customs received a consignment of clothes from the Turkish port of Iskenderun, according to Muhammad Al-Naim, Undersecretary of the General Authority for Security Affairs.

Captagon pills were concealed and then rewoven imaginatively within the fur cavities. He said that the smuggling attempt was foiled. Thanks to the General Directorate for Narcotics Control's cooperation.

They apprehended two suspects who were involved in the incident. Al-Naim reported that Saudi Customs is continuing to tighten controls on all imports, exports, and passengers, as well as countering smuggling in all forms, noting that since April 2020. The customs authorities have blocked several attempts to smuggle over 12.5 million pills from the very same port.
