In the Australian city of Adelaide, a Saudi student saved his 94-year-old neighbor from a devastating fire that had broken out in his apartment.

After a long day at the university, Noah Al-Harbi decided to relax. The cries of women outside the house jolted him awake. “As soon as I came out of my residence, I saw thick smoke rising from my elderly neighbor's house. I ran over to his house and attempted to open the main door, but I couldn’t get in.” Al-Harbi told the media.

"But since it was closed, I broke in through the window and opened the door, allowing another neighbor to join me in the rescue effort. We couldn't find him anywhere in the hall. Further inside the home, the old man was lying unconscious. I took him out of the house after picking him up," the Saudi citizen explained.

Al-Harbi said, "Firefighters and ambulances had already assembled at the location”.

The elderly man was treated on the spot by paramedics before being taken to the hospital for further treatment. Al-Harbi said he was unaware that his hand had also been injured. He paid a visit to his elderly neighbor in the hospital and inquired about his well-being, while the Australian expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the student for his selfless humanitarian act. Despite the arrival of several OB vans to put out the fire and the spectators assembling outside, no one came forth to assist the elderly Australian, according to Al-Harbi.
