Global Village expects that this activity would inspire its huge fan base to donate to the region's largest food campaign.

Global Village, the UAE and the broader nation’s leading multicultural community destination for music, shopping, and entertainment, is on the verge of breaking 25 Guinness World Records in celebration of its Silver Jubilee. The park is only two occasions away from achieving this vision a reality, winning its 23rd title on Tuesday.

Global Village used 2,500 lanterns to construct a mosaic that read "100,000,000 meals" in line with the national campaign lately initiated by Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI).

“100 Million Meals” helps to send food packages to deprived populations throughout the Middle East, allowing less privileged people to consume and cook their food during Ramadan.

The lanterns being used to produce the 100,000,000 meals message were given away completely for free to Global Village guests.

Global Village believes that this notification would motivate its huge fan base to donate to the region's largest food drive. During the case, promotional activities were being shown that explained how to register on the MBRGI website and make a significant difference.

And with only three days before Global Village shuts for the summer, on Sunday, May 2nd, Global Village devotees are racing against the clock to find the right Eid gift or enjoy very special Ramadan Nights.

The season has indeed been thrilling, and to round off the Silver Jubilee celebrations, visitors will be able to see the 25th Guinness World Records effort on Sunday (May 2) at 21:00.
